On the front lawn there were turkeys, geese, cows! Looks unreal, but
this is life at Lago todos los Santos in Chile! The family we stayed
at is friendly, only speaks Spanish and welcomes visitors.

We could only get here by fishing boat

Our house where we stayed for the night

More great views on Osoro volcano

An adventurous trek over stream

Starting our 4 hrs hike at Lago todos los Santos

Beautiful shot of Saltos de Petrohue. You can see Salmon swimming
upriver, unfortunately imported from Canada, raised in captivity and
escaped in the lake

Another view of Saltos de Petrohue with 2 volcanos Osoro and Tronador

The "Saltos de Petrohue" waterfalls on our way to lake Lago todos los
Santos

Osoro last erupted in 1857. Here you see 3 small side craters

A great view of Osoro vulcano near the snow field

Felipe our private guide, and Andrea on Osoro vulcano

The view from our 1 hr hiking trip on Osoro vulcano

Another picture taken in Puerto Varas on our way to Osoro vulcano.
This pic is for Kurt :-)

Nice view on Lago Llanquihue from the road to Puerto Varas

Last view of Puerto Montt

Next morning we started our 2 days trekking trip with Felipe to Petrohue

Heading back to the hotel through the streets of Puerto Montt

Anthony and Michelle

Jorge, Andrea, Anthony, Michelle y Marcia in a good mood at Barra 77
after having dinner at "Fogon del lenador"

The new bar called "Barra 77", on Avenida Dr. Martin between Santa
Maria and Blanco Encalada, opened in September 2008. Very nice!
