On the front lawn there were turkeys, geese, cows! Looks unreal, but this is life at Lago todos los Santos in Chile! The family we stayed at is friendly, only speaks Spanish and welcomes visitors.

Having arrived at the cross! A must-see small hike, no tourists, safe, with a different view on Puerto Montt and the vulcanoes in the distance than usual
Breathtaking view from the hill! Cows, ocean, snowy mountains in the distance!
A small path leads up to the cruz, reminded us of hiking paths in Switzerland :-)
A small fishing boat takes passengers (mainly locals) from mainland to the island, only 2 minutes ride
A great idea was to do a short 1 hr trip by ourselves to the cross on top of an island facing Puerto Montt

Changing bus in Curico, heading to Talco
Sunday morning, 8am Chile time or 1 pm Central European time we are leaving our room at Hotel Gomero in Santa Cruz and heading to the bus terminal!
